Please follow these steps to RSVP by May 1

Step 1) Mark your calendar

The Wedstival is Thursday, July 2 - Sunday, July 5 in Sherman, New York! See the full schedule here.

Step 2) Book your lodging: See all lodging options here

  • If you normally attend Heron and know the ropes: Buy your ticket and book your camping as usual.

  • If it’s your first time at Heron and you’re camping at the festival (tent, car, or RV): Please wait to book. You will indicate this on your RSVP form and receive instructions from us.

  • If you’ve chosen the Peek’n Peak Resort (discounted room block 20 mins from the festival): Go ahead and book it now.

  • If you’ve chosen AirBnB/Hotel: Go ahead and book it now.

Step 3) Book your travel

The festival is here. It’s relatively remote.

  • If you’re flying and camping, make sure to build in a travel buffer. Consider arriving on Wednesday (July 1) and booking a hotel near the airport for one night, and using Thursday to set up camp. You’re also welcome to stay Sunday night (July 5) and use Monday to pack-up and leave.

Driving:

  • 2.5 hours drive from Cleveland

  • 3 hours drive from Pittsburgh

  • 6.5 hours drive from Philadelphia

  • 7 hours drive from NYC

  • 22 hours drive from Boulder, Colorado (We love a road trip!)

Flying:

  • Less than 1 hour drive from Erie airport (not many flight options, but some on American Airlines)

  • 1.5 hours drive from Buffalo airport

  • 2.5 hours drive from Rochester airport

  • 2.5 hours drive from Cleveland airport

Rental car:

  • You can Uber/Lyft from the airport, but once in Sherman, you’re there forever. It’s too remote to rely on regular rideshare options. We certainly recommend renting a car.

Carpooling:

  • If you’re interested in sharing a rental car/carpooling with other Wedstravelers, please indicate this on your RSVP form and we will follow up! Feel free to coordinate amongst friends too.

Step 4) Fill out the RSVP Form with your plan

Please complete our RSVP Google Form, even if you usually come to the Heron. Only one form per party, please!

Step 5) Join our Wedstival WhatsApp Chat

Not only will this be useful, it will also be hilarious.

Step 6) Get your Heron ticket

  • If it’s your first time at Heron, please wait to hear from us. We will email instructions for getting your festival ticket with our comp code after you complete the RSVP form. (see FAQs). This will include how to book your camping (if applicable).

  • If you’ve been to Heron before, please buy your ticket as usual (see FAQs).
